The Evolution Of Modern Art

Contemporary ArtPrograms take place in a wide range of thrilling settings, including classroom-based mostly residencies for K-12 college students, and faculty visits to the gallery at BRIC House. Originally located within the landmark 1783 building on Ridgefield’s historic Main Street that now houses administrative workplaces, since 2004 the Museum has been housed in a 17,000 sq.-foot facility that features two flooring of exhibition galleries and a dynamic Education Center, and overlooks a two-acre Sculpture Garden.

Solo exhibitions embody Occupy Greenwich (Brant Foundation, 2016); Your Land/My Land: Election ’12, pre-sented concurrently at seven museums across the US (from the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles to the New Museum, New York, 2012); Minimalist Works from the Holocaust Museum (Dundee Contemporary Arts, Scotland, 2010-11); Apocalypto Now (Museum Ludwig, Cologne, 2009); and the retrospective exhibition, And/Or, (P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center, New York, 2009).
